Directions for use of Price-Driscoll Aerosol Mold Cleaners
When using a product for the first time, be sure to read and understand the Safety Data Sheet prior to use.
For the personal protection of the operator and safety-in-use of these products, please follow these recommendations:
Eye production: Chemical goggles, safety glasses with side shields.
Clothing: Wear long sleeves, chemical resistant gloves, butyl rubber or Teflon FEP* gloves, coveralls, apron and boots as necessary to prevent skin contact.
Respiration: Wear a NIOSH/MSH approved organic vapor/mist respirator or an air supplied respirator as appropriate to prevent overexposure by inhalation.
Ventilation: Use local exhaust, mechanical ventilation of confined spaces.
With the exception of Clean-It #16, (which is gentle and safe enough to use on most solvent-sensitive materials, plastics and silicones), Price-Driscoll mold cleaners are formulated for use on molds or tooling that are metal, aluminum or steel.
When using cleaners in aerosol form, the product can be applied directly on the mold or tooling surface.
Flush away contaminant or wipe away dissolved contaminants with a clean lint-free rag or scrub with a soft bristle brush for stubborn materials. Residue and or excess spray may be removed with compressed air.
