Directions for use of Price-Driscoll Liquid Mold Release Product
Use Safety Glasses for eye protection.
Start with a clean mold.
Apply with a sprayer, air brush sprayer, (i.e. Grainger or McMaster-Carr)
Hold sprayer about 12 to 15 inches away from the mold surface and spray a light mist onto the surface. Two light coats are better than one thick coat. A little goes a long way; a lot does no better.
Over spraying may cause a build-up of mold release over a period of time and my cause piece marking.
(Following the above directions will yield more releases per application shorter cycle times, higher productivity and will increase the life of your molds.)
Suggested sprayer or spray system should be stainless steel, do not use aluminum sprayers, especially with Solvent B (n-propyl bromide).
Keep water out and away from the container that contains the mold release. When using air compressors, use a dryer so that condensation does not occur inside the container.
