Instructions for Proper Use of Cylinders
Cylinder must be used in valve up position. Use safety face shield, gloves and protective clothing when connecting and/or disconnecting spray lines.
Connect hose to cylinder valve and connect spray handle to end of hose. Open valve on cylinder. Slightly open spray handle valve. Raise hose and spray handle in a vertical direction so air will escape hose as product leaves the cylinder. (This is commonly referred to as “walking the hose”.) When product begins to flow out spray handle, the hose is properly purged of air. Close the spray handle valve. Now you are ready to spray.
Caution: Under no circumstances should the cylinder be used until the hose and spray handle are properly attached.
Turn off spraying equipment. Close cylinder valve. Bleed down pressure in spray lines and equipment. Disconnect hose and spray handle valve from cylinder valve. Flush hose and spray handle valve with solvent indicated on cylinder label.
Properly maintained and connected hoses and equipment will maintain pressure and prevent product loss during short term shutdown. For longer periods, it is prudent to close cylinder valve to prevent product loss.
For best results use at 70°F (21.1°C) to 80°F (28.4°C). A cold cylinder will cause poor atomization.
Do not expose container to temperatures over 120°F (49°C).
